If I could give more stars then I would. We have been fortunate enough that Shaz and Brooke have made three cakes for our family over the last 4 years. Each cake has been stunning, and tasted amazing. The process to order is streamlined and I cant believe how well Shaz was able to bring my random ideas to life. We are so fortunate to have such an amazing business in town.
The reason I rate Sharon and her team 5 star is that the value put into this product from the beginning to the ending. Experiencing the workshop, the tastings, the great interpretation of our 'dream' and seeing it come to life and all with a sense of ease. The quality of the cake ingredients and flavours was really worth itself! Definitely highly recommended as a classy 'investment' into our wedding.
Really disappointed with the end result.Although Sharon is a lovely lady, the $200 I spent on my sons cake was not at all worth it.They had over a month notice, and I got a call the morning of, to ask for more time. The cake design was clearly rushed and was NOT the flavour ordered. The choc-mint- was just chocolate. Seems like a little thing, but when spending that amount of money, you would hope to get what you pay for.Customer service was lovely, but end result was very disappointing.
From the very beginning, Sharon listened to what we wanted for our 60th birthday celebration cake. The cake was superb from the outside, exquisite decorations, to the wonderful quality of cake itself. Sharon gives excellent advice. Cannot recommend highly enough if you want quality.
Sharron & her team at Blackbird Cakes are a remarkable combination of Artists and talented Bakers. The attention to detail in both the Decoration and Baking quality were outstanding. They took such care to ensure that each and every element of both the cake and the decoration were what we wanted. Ours was not a straight forward birthday cake as it had to combine the interests of both a 70 and 21 year old and Sharron created a cake that reflected both of their interests in a way that made perfect sense. Truly outstanding.
