Great friendly staff ..
I have taken my animals to this vet practice ever since 2000. They used to be fantastic while it was run by Chris Ford but since Greencross have taken over the service is reduced. Vets are not always there when you want them. I just tried calling on a Saturday morning and they are closed. The staff are still as lovely as ever but they sometimes use locums or as today are just not available. In my opinion the Greencross organisation is only interested in money, not in service to animals and their owners. It is a shame as the staff are lovely but I am seriously considering changing vets if Greencross cannot start providing the service the previous owner did then I shall consider changing vets.
Rang to ask if they do ultrasound. Person I spoke to said hold the line for a second. 6 minutes elapsed still no one spoke to me. It clearly stated in the recording I was listening to while on hold, that they do indeed do ultrasound... no very good customer service!
Had been using company for a few years, we took our cat there and told that she had cancer in the jaw, then contacted by senior vet and told that it is likely not to be Cancer and possible tooth impacted. So we spent extra money and time to remove the tooth and get more samples of the jaw, only to be told it was cancer and that antibiotics would help settle down the cat and to make comfortable, only to find that the poor cat had gone through all the additional work and pain for no relieve. 3 days past and the cat was back at the vets, we had to make a choice if things didnt approve we would need to put the cat to sleep, upon asking if they could contact us if this was going to be done, as our 5 year old daughter wanted to say goodbye to the cat, the cat was put down with no call to us, when asked we were told they were too busy. Picking up the phone and a call is so easy. Also we were not called regards to it for 3 weeks. No staff contact for 3 weeks to explain issue.
Tash was fantastic with our little man. Gentle and calm manner and great knowledge of what his needs were.
